Part V : Pont de Normandie (Normandy Bridge)

Part VI : Pont l’Évêque

This little town and the surrounding region is well known for producing cheese, so I was asked to photograph a fromagerie. However, upon arrival, we discovered that it was closed for renovations. Since we were well ahead of schedule at this point, it was a good opportunity to finally take a rest stop.

The Pont l’Évêque tourist information building is very cute and has a real life war plane (P51 Mustang III) displayed in front of it.

I visited this amazing looking pâtisserie, L’Epi d’Or (Golden ear of wheat) and chose a fruit tart (my favourite) inside a chocolate waffle cone. It tasted even better than it looked although I think I would have been happy with any of the delicious and beautiful looking patisseries here.
